Overview

Your Tangier day trip from Rabat will will start with a city overview. Then, a 1st stop will be to see the Grand Succo, a popular nighttime square close to the Mosque of Sidi Bou Abib and the link between Ville Nouvelle and the medina. Visit the medina, with its cafes and bazaars, Spanish church, jewelers’shops and an arts center displaying works showing Tangier’s social history. Walk the Petit Socco which was once the heart of the medina. Move on to visit the Grand Mosque, built on the site of a Portuguese cathedral. The tour will also lead you to visit the Kasbah decorated with mosaics, ornamental stucco and woodcarving. Next to it you will walk the ramparts, explore the Musée de Carmen-Macein exhibiting a collection of works by Picasso, Max Ernst and Georges Braque.

Itinerary

Pick-up

Pure Morocco driver will pick you up from your hotel in Rabat and departure for your Tangier Day Trip from Rabat via the highway. Upon arrival, you will be joind by your local guide before and then start the visit. The tour will start with a city overview. Lunch Time

Optional Lunch. Your guide will recommend you some good Moroccan restaurants in Tangier. Enjoy a traditional Moroccan lunch before to explore the “Quartier du Marshan”, visit the Anglican church of St.Andrew built to cater to Tangier’s growing British population.

Drop-off

End of the visit and transfer back to your hotel in Rabat.
