Itinerary

Day 1: Marrakech – Essaouira

Pick up from your Hotel/Riad in Marrakech and drive via the high way to the former Portuguese possession of Mogador (Essaouira in Arabic). Upon arrival tours of this city. Day 2: Essaouira - Safi - El Jadida

Breakfast at your hotel and departure for Mazagan via the coastal Road, on the way we will have a short stop at Safi to visit this another heritage Portuguese city, where will visit “Ksar El Bahr”, a 16th-century fortress built by Portuguese colonizers, is on the waterfront. In the old town, food and craft stalls line the Rue du Souq. Nearby, the National Museum of Ceramics is in another Portuguese-built fort. The centerpiece of the collection is decorated local pottery, created in workshops in the hillside Colline des Potiers quarter.
We will continue afterward to El Jadida. Upon arrival, you will have free time for lunch , before to start the guided visit of Mazagan known also as Mazagão in Portuguese, it has massive Portuguese walls of hewn stone and is classed by UNESCO as World Heritage site, on the basis of its status as an outstanding example of the interchange of influences between European and Moroccan cultures and as an early example of the realization of the Renaissance ideals integrated with Portuguese construction technology. According to UNESCO. The most important buildings from the Portuguese period are the cistern, and the Manueline Church of the Assumption. Optional lunch in a local restaurant.
